Photos of the F0 pair of Amphilophus hogaboomorum from Rio Cholteca in Honduras. Jeff Rapps has some nice inch and a half froy from this pair. You very rarely see this fish in the hobby.
Really nice shot of the large male at 12". I have two males this size in the 180. Each of the males has staked a territory on each side of the tank. Interesting in that prior to every breeding, the female will court both males on each side of the tank. Ultimately she will mate with the same male.
