Greetings all. I will be posting pictures of Panama very soon. Generally when i go away I take a computer and post some of the RAW images at night...during the trip. This time around I didn't bring a computer. I stayed active via my cell phone (still amazing to me). I've converted most of the RAW to JPG...I shot some video, not alot. More on that later.
I received my new D300 and have been playing with the settings for the past week or so. Unbelievable camera. Here's a couple shots of the P. Breidohri shot at an ISO of 3200. Note the minimal noise and detail...color.
These (like most I shoot) are at a 200 ISO.
The detail in this photo just blows me away.
A few shots of the male Honduran Managuense.
And one of the female...again an extremely fast ISO of 3200.
For the first time in a LONG time more of my tanks contain fry than adult fish. Managuense, Motaguense, Labridens, Bifasciatum... One really cool thing was that I finally put Jumbo into a divided tank with a female Honduran Managuense...and he bred.
I doubt seriously if I will continue breeding him. He did not have direct access to the female and bred through the divider. However he really beat his lip up bad trying to get to the female. I would imagine this is how gargoyles breed. LOL Nothing like a spalsh of sex to perk up the aggression. Anyway...I will photo the fry as they get older.
