This is F0 Amphilophus hogaboomorum from Rio Cholteca in Honduras. The three are by themselves in a 180 gallon tank. The two on the left is NOT the breeding pair. Them male on the right is...as well as the female on the left. What happens is that when the breeder female swims to the opposite side of the tank the other male will begin "courting" her. This generally winds up with a confrontation.
To give you some perspective, here is the fry tank. The fry in this tank are about a half inch in length. It's one of three tanks full of fry from the pair above. I plan on taking them to the ACA to distribute among hobbyists.
