I photographed on o these during my recent trip to Segrest Farms. Had to have one. This little guy is only four inches...but full of promise for some great photos.

Very nice Mo. In my experience they usually look nicer over lighter substrate and background instead of darker. Also keep an eye out for internal pararsites, they are a common issue. Silks are usually a bit more fragile, similar to how Electric Blue Jack Dempseys are fragile in comparison to the normal strain.

Very nice Mo. Great looking Silk. You take the best shots out there. I always look foward to seeing your photos. They make me so jelious, wish I could get shots like that.

Where is the SALSA!? This is the one hybrid that I owned as well, though I gave it away once I determined it was female. I also had to treat for internal parasites.

Hi Mo, Great shots -I know hybrids normally aren't your thing, I'm glad you decided to pick up this guy. Be careful you might just catch the hybrid fever.

Ow! gorgeous color. how did you find such a dark, rich blue? :-)
is it a particular line?
all I've seen online are pale.
or do your pics make him look richer? ;-)

Part of it is genetic and the other is surrounding. The olive green color is the most common, followed by the blue, and then theres the rarely seen silver. Dark tank will deepen the color to a degree and light tank will lighten it. I would also think his photo editing adds to the richness the color is.
