A few people have asked me if I still had my Coatzacoalcos. Several years ago I was give a bag of wild caught juveniles by Rusty Wessel. I still have one breeding pair in the 400 gallon tank and a few others across some other tanks. This is the breeding male half...a bruiser at 13". His color is a little bleached as it does prior to him slipping into the barred breeding pattern.

No. Blue died a couple years ago. Loved that fish.

Mojo, how many tanks do you have? You seem to keep every cool CA cichlid in existence. And all your fish are spectacular.

They just get better with age, Michael pilack has a pair of ten year old biffa on YouTube, best looking biffa's I have seen. Well done for keeping him 14 years, not many manage it in this hobby
