There was some conversation in another thread about different new world cichlids in the hobby. I've posted tese before, but it's a cichlid that you don't normally see in tanks or in pet stores. I had three of them for several years and endd up giving them to Jeff Rapps. Really a very pretty fish.

Beautifully fish, just did a quick search for them, never come a cross a cichlid with so many names,, Cichlasoma,,, Benitochromis,,, Vieja,, Kihnichthys.

Sweet fish. The third one looks best to me, very blue face and the yellow is more pronounced.

I've never heard of them. It reminds me of a little pearsei except with a lot more color.
