Check out this platinum lunker, Amatitlania nigrofasciata. I have three of them this size. As a reference for size, my photo tank is nine inches wide. A year ago I emptied a 220 gallon tank and restocked it with Convict cichlids and HRP's. Easier to maintain and entertaining to watch. They're living large! ;)DEV_9394.jpg

:thumbsup: Nice. IMHO, a well-grown, mature, massive old specimen of a common-as-dirt fish like a Convict...is far more impressive than some skinny malnourished stunted runt of some rare exotic "cool" species.

Too many people collect fish rather than keeping them...and keeping is much more of an accomplishment.
