A few new shots of the P. coatzacoalcos. I have a dozen of these fish and a 100 gallon tank full of one inch fry. Looks like my largest pair will be breeding again soon. Interesting in that the female in this photo is about four inches....two thirds of the size of all of the other females that I own. The male is around seven inches in TL...still growing. They are both very active...but overall somewhat skittish.

Amazing fish and Amazing photos.
May i ask what sort of camera you are using and the settings your running. iso, shutter speed, aperture.
Really struggling with the picture taking hahaha

Great looking fish. Agreed would love to know what kind of camera equipment and settings you are running.

Awesome pics MO! IS this with your new camera?

really nice nice there love them

Yes. The shots are with my new Nikon D700, I used a 105mm VR Nikkor lens and three Nikon SB-900 flash units. These particular shots were shot with an ISO of 200, 1/250th second @ f22 - f32. 99% of all of my photos are taken with a flash unit. If you look at my YouTube page, you can see how I set up the lights.

I don't know how to embed that here. If someone wanted to do that it would be excellent. Thanks for the kind remarks.

Mo I never get enough of your photos.
