Just returned from Mexico. Had a great time with my friends. We saw a lot of beautiful fish in their natural environment, collected some for photos, and took a lot of drone video of the habitat. We did NOT bring fish home. Unfortunate..just not possible. I will be posting photos/video of some of the collection areas. This is Tabasquilla...entrance into the Centia swamps. Basically a bunch of small ponds that form when the flooding subsides.


We collected some beautiful Salvini...extremely red.

There all absolutely stunning, thanks for sharing. Every time I see wild caught fish like this makes me think about trying uvb light on my tank.

Very cool the "typical" southern Mexico species, I've always enjoyed catching the "common" species...more than the uncommon
