Today in the Fishroom ~ Trichromis salvini

This guy doesn't come out often. He and his mate are solo in a 100 gallon tank. Very shy. I probably should put some dithers in there with them. But he was out tonight for food and I grabbed a shot. Large males 7"...give or take....but big and bulky. Amazing colors.

Stunning fish, when you see a big male like this always makes me wonder why these trimacs and lyonsi were never put in the same group.
