Today was a bad day

Kind of saw this coming, but found out today that they are going to be closing the shop where I work by November 16th. I am not really going to want to work, knowing that they will be shutting the place down. I am in a separate building, so I don't know if they are going to try and move me up front or not.

Bad part is we are just the victims here. The people that are to blame for the shop closing will still have their job.

I really don't want to start looking for another job.

It should make for a pleasant holiday season.

Thanks...I am definitely staying positive through all of this. I have been kind of looking for a job for the last month or so and have been wanting a change.

See there you go... and seek and you shall find.. it is honestly a little harder nowadays to find a good job ..but i have no doubt in my mind that it will happen for you..you have a great personality and alot of knowledge presenting yourself.. i think you have what it takes just from reading your posts ..i have every confidence that you will succeed sooner or later..because you are a very sincere happy person.

Thanks! You are always so nice...making everyone feel so good. I do Drafting AutoCAD work and there seems to be a lot of people looking for these type of jobs. Luckily, I have quite a few friends in this field who I will be calling soon.

No severance pay. Said they couldn't afford it. lol. They want us to finish the jobs we have and then they will kick us out the door. I am pretty sure that they will be moving me up to the front offices, in a new position. But, I am not quite sure that is what I want.
