Just curious, I wouldn't expect to find rockbass and sunfish in a little stream like that either. I saw a 3' musky in a similar sized creek on opening day of trout. We thought it swam upstream from somewhere. (poor little stockys!") haha It would just swim around in circles in a 4'deep whole it was super cool, we watched it for hours! Never tried to hook her though! I think they were out of season anyway.---XR---;3005069; said:we have native rainbows at a different area of the stream farther down it's a deep area, some suckers in the 15-20" range.

Its fun to take kids to it because they normally catch their limit. (and who knows maybe a 3' musky.) ha.
Again nice catches.
Yeah it must of swam up out of the allegheny river for some reason or another. I fish for mainly steelhead, walleye, and perch because I am close to Lake Erie, but its fun to switch it up once in a while and take a drive. I'm sure at the right time of the year depending on what bodys of water the creek is near you could see a musky or something like that. 20'' suckers, it must be near something of size. Maybe you too will be suprised, casting in a chunk of worm and have yourself some fun!---XR---;3005157; said:That is awesome, every time were fishing these small spots we joke about seeing muskies and such, would be amazing to accually happen, Most of my concentrated time fishing is twoards Bass and Walleye. Creeks are fun too though!!
