dam im jealous/ ive been out twice but in nj the water temp was 34.8 and 35.6 so i havent caught anything yet but best belive when the ice is gone on one of my favorite spots / im going to get a bass atleast 3lbs /stay tuned

dang man, ive been fishing a small pond that bakes in sun all day and havent seen a fish or got a hit. What lures u use and what should i use? Its a 2 acre pond w/ very merky water.

with the temp probaly somewhere between 40-55 focus on the bottom unless u find fish along the shores.this time of the year i use(of course cuz they work for me)lipless crank baits/husky jerk baits/and last but definitely not least rattling jig with or without a trailor on it/ blk and blue so far for me has worked the best/ all these lures make alot of noise/if either of the 3 or not working down size the bait and u should be able to get some crappies and pickeral to bite and youll learn a pattern on ur favorite lake/ oh dont forget crank baits and chatter baits also

Yeah kinda slow saw lots of fish but they wernt that big or active but also the one icaught was really skinny for its size. I was ussing a blue crank bait tried jigs got a few bites missed them. I just walked down from my house(10minute slow walk) grabed a jacket incase wind and left with 2 jigs and a crank. If i had taken some soft plastics i would have caught more. Saw a few busting the surface already.

Oh yeah the lake is 88acres is a resovior bout 100-150 feet deep at its deepest but averages around 20 feet except for the main valley.

oh ok / watch for the perfect time to bust out the white spinner bait and when that happens go buzz baiting /and dont forget the pics cuz i def want ot see them

Went again yesterday water is around 45 and didnt see or catch a thing. The sky was aovercast but around six when i was leaving it cleared up and i saw some baitfish pop up. Ithink they were warming in the sun then feeding but lack of sun meant lack of fish.

Glad to see you are catching some fish, I haven't felt like drilling holes so no fishing for me.
