today i went to petsmart in search of silver dollars to finish off my tank. and i saw a small poly like 3" and its priced at like $6 and i really want it. and i am sure i am going to get it tommorow or sometime at the begining of next week. is there anything i should know ahead of time. like mainly feeding growth rate? just all the basiclys thanks guys!

from petsmart, its a polypterus senegal. just do a search on here for that and you'll get all that info and more

ya, im 99% sure its a sengal if ur getting him from petmsart, my 2 sengals grew about 4 inches in 2 and a half months but now they seems stuck at like 6 inches........how ever my ornate grows an inch a month and hes already 12"s. i stardted my polys in a 29 gallon, but now the ornate is in my 100, the sengals i sold to a freind along with the 30, but he lives nextdoor to me thyell eat anything, mine get pellets, smelt, bloodworms, market shrimp, and soon feeders frogs
