Toenail screws vs straight on advice?

Anybody know what's stronger or a better hold? Toenailing screws or just straight threw the back side of a stud?

From my experience you toenail when you can't straight nail. It is faster for production. If you have the ability to go straight on do it that way much stronger bond.

That's what I figured but I am just making sure what others thought! Thanks for the reply.. Any body else have opinions ?

straight into stud is always best whether its screws or nails.
