My tokay died.

I want a little one.so i can tame it.I have pictures of a friends tokay and some i found on the internet that prove they can be tamed.I have a question how fast do they grow.

Sorry to hear about that.

Just a thought but maybe you should check into why the old one died BEFORE getting another one. Make sure it was not a "keepers mistake".;)

Oh and sorry about the loss!

sorry....

yea really lol.........do you actually know how it died?

How old was the one you had before. Walls has the best point so far! Also, just 'cause someone is holding it doesnt make it tame lol. But yes, they can get better with a lot of persistance. Personally i wouldn't bother it, and if you want a more tame lizard, i'd look into some different species too.

i honestly dont know how it died. But it was like 1 year old when i had it,and around 12 inches and i had it for a year so it was around 2 years old when it died.

Well that still doesn't explain alot seeing they can live to be 20+ years old so IMO i would try to find out what happened so you don't lose another one the same way.......

Best I could figure you have had the Tokay for almost 3 1/2 month's according to the dates in this thread. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47074

Now please understand that I am NOT flaming on you but you really do need to do more homework BEFORE you get another Tokay. I glanced at the older Tokay threads and it seems as though you were never really sure about your pet, and IMO 3-4 month's is probably just about as long as your pet could last.
Please take my advice and read as much as you can, look for info that will help you to enjoy your next Tokay instead of guessing as you go. YOU and your pet will be much happier in the long run!!
