This is my first time keeping these and so far i really enjoy them:) I got them from Aclockworkorange, Thank you Jeff:) i dont remember exaclty how many i have.. i think it was 12 give or take lol. the smallest is still around 1" the largest is 2.75-3" i dont know how to sex these yet but im sure ill figure it out;) I am keeping these in my 180 with a bunch of midas, umbees, salvani pair, and a lone GT. I wasnt sure how they would manage with all of their tankmates. but to my surprise, they are quite assertive!! SO here are some pics, i tried to get decent ones but they move so fast LOL

Thanks for the pics Jeff:) the mom almost reminds me of Bartoni.

They go through a similar color change with their breeding dress. My male would only get those colors when guarding newly hatched fry. IME (seeing other fish too besides mine) if the female is sexually mature and has a male or is dominant, she's in that dress pretty much all the time.

Looks like you're doing a great job with them. Hopefully more people will discover this species and keep them. I couldn't give them away locally.

These guys are lots of fun to have. There are plenty if other species I haven't thought about keeping before due to the possibility lack of interest but after keeping these ill be more reluctant to try some others down the road;)
