Great pics, those are great looking Cichlids. To be honest I've never heard of them. Do they always have the red showing or is that just in the breeding stage???? What is there temperament like????

You are welcome, they aren't perfect, but, you get the idea of how it looks. These fish are a pleasure to shoot, especially when the fry are free swimming.

Thanks, they really are great! I can't tell you about the red on these ones, I didn't have an opportunity to see them before they spawned. They are very scrappy fish and can back it up it would seem, good teeth and very powerful bodies on them.
