Tom's shrimp hatchery

Was wondering if anyone has used this and if they think it works. I would like to grab it as I came across allot of free brine shrimp eggs when helping someone move tanks.

The draw of that is that is sits in your aquarium. I would inquire about salinity for a fresh water setup. How does this work in fresh when brine shrimp require salt water? Or do they not need salt water?

Interesting product... i guess maybe the saltwater is contained within the product itself? but the thing with that is, i don't know how the brine shrimp would manage to swim out of the container into a freshwater tank?

Maybe the product is false advertising a little? but yeah, i think brine shrimp have to have saltwater to hatch...

Salt water is denser than fresh right, so maybe it is submerged or something and you let it run and put it in the tank with your fry or whatever that need the shrimp?

Ok, I'm interested enough to try it out. When I get it and set it up I'll let you know how it goes.

The only problem I see if your using it to feed in a fry tank. Seems those holes are big enough for fry to swim into it.

fair observation, I'll goof around with it when I get it and let you know what I come up with.
