Been a while since I took my camera out. Took it out tonight to take a photo of the moon over the Sand box.

Camera: Nikon D90
Lens: 55-200mm f/4-5.6
Shutter speed: 120
ISO: 14

Great shot lovely detail in the moon might help the composition if you moved the moon off centre to one third in and one third up. might make it more pleasing to the eye.

There's certain times to break the "rule of thirds", in this shot it would just look like an off centered moon, there's nothing else to look at, no horizon or anything to worry about. Just a little bit off center may help, but not quite to the 1/3 extremes.

Thank you all for the comments. I will keep in mind all the advice given. This was actually my first time shooting the moon. I kinda figured I'd give it a shot or two. Thanks again.
