got rid of 10 synspilum, and one huge lima that was taking up too much space. Picked up 2 uaru, and 5 gold severums. Can anyone tell me what type of uaru these are..?

those are Uaru A.

Uaru F. would have cost you an arm and a leg and even the juvies have a black spot running down their back, hence the "panda uaru" common name.

these accually look like Uaru fernandezyepezi in juvi coloration..

both look similar as jvuiniles.

edited becuase i think rapps is only offering the first commericial selling of F1's, not F's ever.

i don't know enough about the markings of A's and F's as juvi's, from pics it looks like F's have markings on the rear portion of there bodies as juvi's, where as yours do not..
 
for $10.00 they are uaru a.

it is REALLY hard to tell the diffrence at that size. you will be able to tell when they hit 2-3" but for 10 bucks i am sure they are uaru a.
 
well I'm not sure because my fish guy did not know anything at all about them. His friend gave them to him. I know they are wild caught and they are from one of the Colorado suppliers (can't remember the name.) He did not know how much they were worth so I just told him I'll give you $20 for both of them since I had about $75 credit anyways.

Why do you think the syn's aren't synspilum's..?
