too big for quarantine tank

what should you do if you're getting a new fish that's too big to set up a quarantine tanke for? any tricks anyone has?

i would just use a rubbermaid tub that is a good size for the fish. that what i use for quarantine tanks.

i'm really short on space for another 55. my apartment is small and my 55, 20 and 100 gal. w/ 50 sump take up alot of room. i plan on buying a house soon, but not soon enough for me to buy more fish.

You can partition your 100 and put everything in the 55 into it. Now you have a 55 quarantine tank.

i built the 100 to give my pacu his room, cutting the hundred in half would kinda screw him over. but that's a good idea for other members to use that have a simialar problem.
