Stuck in the box again.
Hi all, hopefully I can get some answers and some confort over my situation.

I have 5 caribes in a 105 gal tank. One 5 1/2 inch, One 7 inch, and the other three are 8-9 inches. The two smaller have always been picked on and all but the dominant fish have had various fins nipped at times. It really hasn't worried me over the last month and a half I've had the fish up until the last week or so.

Last week one of the fish got bitten on the eye, I associated it with giving them a rather tasty perch I had caught that day. Fortunatly it healed up rather quickly so i wasn't too worried. Today though another one of the big ones has a large bite mark out of his side and everyone is really stressed out. I could blame it on my dad comming over and scaring them but I doubt it. I love my fishys but the daily injury checks are getting rather daunting.

Any advice? The only thing ive changed in the last two weeks is the heater got replaced and I missed a water change.

I don't think there's really anything you can do. A bigger tank might give them more space for territories but that won't gurantee the occassional bites will stop.
