Too many hydras

I had the beginning of a hydra outbreak in my 25g planted. I put a blue paradise female and male in, male got too aggressive so put him in community tank. Female continued to gorge on hydra(and NLS fed regularly) andddd... This happened. Hydras gone though...

Bad bloat, barely moving, just gulping air. Euthanized right after pics. It looked normal last night, she blew up fast.

Pretty good if you ask me, I haven't seen any hydra in awhile. I read opaline gouramis seem to be the best.
