Too much bowing?

Here are a some photos.
It has about 1/2inch of bowing when filled all the way in the center of the front panel, but no bowing at the edges of the front panel.
1/4inch thick acrylic panels. Has a built in sump. 18inches tall and deep and 3ft long.

Also no crazing in the seems yet. The bowing also goes down by half when the tank is only filled halfway.
 
Tank that size should be 10 or 12mm, 3/8" or 1/2", acrylic for normal safety factors; 1/4" is approaching 1.0 safety factor.

Just remeasured everything and the tank is 14 inch wide front to back. 20 inch tall and the panels are 1/4 inch thick.

Edit: the 55 has been running for over a year now no leaks

That makes me feel a bit better. It is supposed to be a 45 gallon.
