is the eheim pro II 2028(for 158 gal) to much for a 84 gallon or is it good?

also is anyone experiemced in using tahition moon sand? is it any good?

Thats not enough filtration imo

I have no idea how much flow the filter has but an average amount of turn over for that size tank would be 10x so around 840GPh will be plenty.
