I have a marineland penguin 350 and plan on puttin another one on, thatll bring the total up to 700 gph turnover for a 45 gal tank, is it too much? I didnt think so at first, but wanted to get more opinions. Thanks

blasphemy..no such thing as to much filtration as long as your fish are not being blown in a world pool ^_^

Depending on media, its only running 200-250gph, the 350gph is the pump only rating. So about 450-500gph which is near 10x turnover, but hob's have some filter bypass in them unlike canisters and sumps, so imo it seems perfect!
