Too much flow?

Ok, I have a 55 gallon with 2 bichirs and a green terror and currently have an xp2. I want to add a HOB filter to help with the particles because the bichirs are really messy. I was thinking an Aqua Clear 110, but do you think that would move the water too fast? Because I dont want it to be so fast it is moving my sand and ect. Or should I go with an AC 70???

any advice would be appreciated. (the cost for the two doesnt really matter)

110 might be too much for a 55, I'd go with the 70, that should be more than enough.

Hmm, well i decided to get the ac110 cause big als has it for cheaper than the ac70 around here. It says that you can control the flow on it so if its too intense I could just adjust it (hopefully).
