too much for tokay?

is a 29 gallon to much for one tokay?I thinking about upgrading from a 15 gallon becasuse the lfs is having a tank sale.

Ummm...from a standard 15 gal (12x24x12), it is both longer and taller(12x30x16). And I would think that a taller tank would just as ideal since tokays are arboreal geckos that like to climb.
 
u could keep it in the 15 but for sure the bigger tank would be best for it and would keep it healthy and more happy
 
29 for sure! I have heard that the bigger the tank a tokay is in the calmer it is. Some guy had a huge pair in a 90 gallon and they would climb on his hand and walk all over him and let him hold them and even eat from his hand.

Well, yeah, A 29 is larger. I'm just saying you get more surface area with a 20L or 30.
Tokay's just hang in the same place all day anyway.:)

Higher tanks are better for tokays. And they do just hang in one spot all day but that is because they are nocturnal. They move around at night when your not looking.

I did notice I spend alot of my sleeping time at night.:D
