Too much light for Fahaka???

I have two 48'' T8 bulbs, making 160watts of light putting out about 13,000 Lumens... Will my Fahaka not like this much light? Thanks

Yes, that might be a little much for your fahaka. But see how he acts. If he is readilly eating and active then its fine.. but if hes hiding under the sand often and seems shy, tone it down.

R45, lights not matter? Dim lights make for happy pike cichlids, bright lights make happy half beaks. Of course if you see them whipping out little sunglasses you might want to turn it down a bit.
