Too much light? Possible?

Say i have a lowlight planted tank, obiously plants can die from lack of light but if i have low light plants but have a good amount of like is it possible to like burn then to death?

Not sure if it will kill them, but there is a good chance it will cause an algae outbreak in the tank...not to mention may even cause algae to start forming on slowler growing plant leaves such as anubias...
 
Cater to your needs. If your low light plant require low light, then why over do it?
 
I'm a total noob to planted tanks but I did seem to "burn" some of my amazon swords when i switched to a vho light fixture. The plants seemed to shrink away from the light lol. They also turned brown on the edges. I suppose it could be anything but I just thought I'd throw it out there.

i bout a fixture cause i didnt think it was enough and i over did it a lil... But i like the look of thw crypts but i also want some taller plants that rquire more light so im thinkin get some val so it will kida hang over the top and take the presure off thw ones on the substrate
