Too Much Light????

I keep mostly "low-light" plants - - java ferns, anubias, crypts, etc. - - but I have fairly bright tanks, at about 3WPG using 6700K power-compacts . . . the pattern I see is that my plants grow fast and lush, but that the leaves mature quicker . . . so, I do have to prune them back more often than I did with less light
basically, "low-light" plants will grow differently with more light, but I have not found that it has hurt them in any way . . .

They're called "low-light", because they don't need much light to exist, but more light ( along with good amount of fertilizers) will only make them grow faster.

i have 4.5 watts/g and most of my plants are ''low light'' they grow so fast i have run out of people to sell too
Some low light plants will die when hit with a drastically greater amount of light, but for the most part, no one would sell those as they're rather unsightly.
