My tank (125 gallon) was set up about 4 weeks ago and should be fully cycled by now, I think but my nitrite levels are very high and they don't seem to be going down at all. Can some one please give me some suggestions on how to fix this problem or tell me what might be wrong with my tank. Thanks

You're tank isnt cycled yet. What's your ammonia reading? What method did you use to cycle your tank? With fish or w/o fish? Did you add bacteria additives? A regular w/ fish cycle will take about 6 weeks...

Slow feeding down to a crawl, absolutely no more than everyone will eat immediately. Keep up on an aggressive WC schedule to buy you some time. It's hard to go further without knowing your bio load and Filtration capacity but I agree with the above, it is early to consider your cycle complete.

The ammonia is at 0 ppm and the nitrate is almost 20 ppm but the nitrite is 5 ppm.
I started the tank with stress zyme two oscars and a small Ornate Bichir but the oscars were to big and wanted to eat the bichir so I removed the oscars then added a Saddled Bichir about two weeks later with the refrigerated live bacteria then added the live bacteria again 3 days ago.
