I was wondering if I have too much water flow in my 125. I have a eheim 2028 on each end and 4 small jack dempseys and 2 common plecos. I am worried because a couple of the JD's seem to stay away from the current. Is there any way to regulate the flow.

Sounds fine to me. I have an fx5, ac110, 1100gph fan, 220gph uvc on a 90 and my fish love it! Try adjusting the direction of flow from the output, you may just have rough undirectional currents instead of a smooth laminar flow.

Opening the holes in the spray bar will decrease the intensity of the current without reducing flow through the filter. Try making the holes only slightly bigger one size at a time until the current is where you like it.
I know, I know, drilling out the holes is irreversible, but it is better than decreasing the filtration. Those filters have a valve you can regulate flow with but again, you will be decreasing the filtration.
BTW, that is a LOT of filter for that tank...try using just one 2028 until the fish are bigger then add the other 2028?
Just my 2 cents.
