Hi there. about a month ago I set up 105 gallon tank. I have it stocked with small fish, all under 3 inch.

So far I have

4 Green terrors
2 black belt Cichlids
2 flowerhorns
1 Chocolate cichlid
1 Geophagus Jurapuri (Demonfish)
8 Silver dollars (Ie: cannon fodder!)
2 Jack Dempseys
1 Salvini
1 Psudeocanthicus Leopard Cactus Pleco orange finned. LA0?

Allot I agree, My plan is to choose the best and sell the rest as they grow.
Its all about the mix, tank size can be doubled if needed, I am new to the monster side of fishkeeping but am an experienced fishkeeper with mainly african cichlids and Dwarf cichlids experience aswell as koi and the usual community fish
.
The black belts are growing at an alarming rate, in a month they have doubled!! they are now an inch longer then anything else.

Ive a few questions for the experienced guys here:

what species mentioned above will definatly not be staying, any stand out as unsuitable?

condidering good water quality and a good diet (I feed kens fishfood growth pellets, Azoo Cichlasoma 9 in 1 for small cichlids, and kens sinking pellets With spirulina, also bloodworm, lancefish, mussels) how fast can my GT's grow??

Ive noticed my gterrors (Gold suams) have lost some of the orange on the fins, its a little washed out. when I got them a month ago they were stunning. any ideas?

Thanks guys, Ive been wanting big cichlids for years now, I finally have a big tank and I think I went out and got too many small monsters! Cant wait till they gain some size!

If you remove the flowerhorns, green terrors, and one of the blak belts and demspeys it should be ok

Well this tank is kinda all about the terrors, I jst want 1 though! and I would like 1 flowerhorn too. Thanks for your advice though

like the last post said, the flowerhorns will dominate to the point that they might kill of most of the fish in the list, especially the smaller south american species

one of each would work but what u have now will be overstocked in a few montths
One of each won't work at all.In a 105 gal,the Blackbelts will own it to themselves.I would lose the B/Bs and F/Hs for sure in this size tank.I would keep 1 GT,1 x Chocolate,1 x JD,maybe the Salvini and several SDs.This is still pushing it.If you want to keep more, a bigger tank will be needed IMO:)

It's so hard to tell which combos are going to work because different fish of different sexes will work depending on which is what sex. You may end up playing musical fish to see who'll go with who (fun fun) but I think you'd have decent luck with 1 Terror, the Chocolate, Eartheater and the Dollars for dithers/target fish.
Have fun lol
Edit: That's if you don't mind upgrading tank size because I think they'd need it as adults.

My Eartheater of that species got his butt kicked by everyone except passive fish like Angelfish or juvie fish. But if a fish didn't kick his butt, he proceeded to chase them all over the tank. Some of the juvie fish even whooped up on him. They'd be good with a Chocolate because Chocolate's are pretty passive & easy-going.
