Hi guys, I am considering building a pond in the courtyard of my house (out doors). Its a very narrow area and I'm not sure if it can be done. the Area is 8.5 feet long by 3.8 feet wide. I was thinking about going 3 feet deep. Because of the rectagle area I was considering using brick or cut stone as the boarder instead of rock, making it look more modern. I would probably fill it with smaller native fish like bluegill and green sunfish and some goldfish. Just looking for some ideas/ concerns on doing a project like this and wondering if anyone has any pictures of some narrow ponds.

Thanks,

Dan

I don't see why it would be too narrow, if you go 8x3x3 It will be more than big enough for the fish you want to stock. Just look at the fish people put in like a 240g which is Much smaller that what you want to build
