Too Small To Sex?

Hello everyone! Been a while since I've posted on here. I recently set up my tank and picked up a Flowerhorn at the LFS. They called it a "Golden Flowerhorn", but it's really hard to tell it's true color. I was wondering if some of you folks could help me in figuring out it's gender and what type of Flowerhorn this is. I took the photos this evening (6/24) and it is approximately 2" long.

Just added the size to the first post. The fish is 2 inches.

Ahh gotcha. Around what size is a good size to sex FH?

Here are more recent photos. Just took these about 20 minutes ago. The fish is just above the 2 inch marker. Any idea if it's male or female?

Cannot confirm anything on sex or identification of what strain just yet. Have to wait it out a little longer to see what kind of physical look it is putting out. 3-4" might be a good time to update your flowerhorn again.

too small still but if i had to guess id pick female

i would be in female 70%, male 30% because of the black mark on its dorsal fin..
