Sealing in the glass baffles in my sump today. But I remember several picts that people used some type of clamp thingy to secure the baffle in first before using silicone. What do I need to make sure they dont move while I'm sealing them in place?

guess nobody has ever built a sump here.

One question, if anyone knows, whats the easiest way to get the silicone seal on the inside pane on the bubble trap area? Put silicon first then push the glass into it and seal the outside?

that's what I would do. As for the tools to hold the panels in place. I don't know. I would say just bar clamps. But still dik how that would work. I would use book holders if you get a heavy set. They will hold the panel straight up and in place.

Masking tape works great or blocks of wood lightly clamped in place!

i used painters tape to hold mine in place... then i ran a line of silicone up each side and smoothed it out with my finger...

You could also build a small jig to hold them in place, just 2 1x4's in an L shape, make one for each side and clamp them on either side of the bezel, be sure to make it a few inches narrower than the tank, so that you have room to caulk.

silicone the middle pane in first on both sides of the pane, then once that dries silicone the 2 outer panes. since the 2 outer panes are siliconed to the bottom as well as the sides they dont need silicone on the inside edge where you cant reach.
