Just received my email order confirmation for some Vallis i ordered.
And realised i have clicked on 8 lots of 20 Bunches instead of 4 Lots of 20.

Would it be bad to add that many to the tank, or should i just chuck the extras outdoors in one of my outdoor planted tanks/barrells.

That's a lot of Val. Your tank will be overrun with them in no time. Then once the nutrients are used up they will start to die off and make a mess.

How big is the tank?

I've never heard of a tank that crashed because they had too many plants. They just look a little crowded. You might have to dose a little extra and check up on your water hardness since vals use bicarbonates as alternate source of carbon.

Thanks Guys, I always get better responses on here then anywhere else i use.
They are going into a bare 90G thats waiting for plants. I have chosen to use 2 plant types. Vallis and Lillies, i think it will be a nice contrast.
Ok I'll Get some extra ferts

This sounds weird, but you might have to dose nitrates. When your plant processing capabilities outweigh the fish load... you have a problem.

thanks for the info.

I am going to keep the fish load relatively low.
Just small Minnows and a pair of Rams and Pearl Gouramis.
I am going to add some Clown Killies and Livebearers this weekend and this should balance out.
