What kinds of fish with teeth can I get in California?

I know that Alligator Gars are illegal. Are any species not?

Snakeheads and piranhas are also out of the question...

The only toothy fishes I've ever kept are African Pikes.

red high fin wolf

I'm not totally sure if these fish are legal but it is worth a shot.
Gatf
Payara
wolf fish
dovii
Pacu
Northern pike
Goonch cat
Mbu puffer
Dorado

tropical gars
aba aba knife fish

The fish in green are out of the question.
The fishes in red, Mostly all of them go over 2ft

Just go with some Exodon Tetras or a erythrinus wolf fish

Expounding on ExoticGREEN's post, the genus Esox is illegal to keep in CA. As are all true Gar, Piranhas, FW Rays, Snakehead (duh), Asian Aro's (duh), Wolf Fish, Most Natives, Bowfin, and other random stuff very few of us keep.

Also I would be interested in keeping a Largemouth Bass, if anybody knows anyone who keeps little guys... Same goes for northern pike.
