Ok, i want to give him variety in his diet, and give him the best possible start to grow him out to be a monster.
So list your top 3 foods for health, vitamins etc... and obviously for good growth.
Remember hes only 2" though.

high quality pellets and or flakes. all the vitamins and nutrients needed.

if he doesn't accept it you can try sneaking it in frozen food like fish fillets or smelt, shrimp etc. my rhom didnt like pellets so when he got about 4-5" i was able to put in a few pellets in his fish fillet and he didnt notice. kinda harder when they're small because they cant swollow whole peices and the pellets will just come out and float up to the top.

If i was to give him fish fillet or smelt, how much are we talkin? coz hes only diddy.
Do you feed live shrimp? and whats Mysis shrimp? ive heard thats good and they love it

I feed my piranha

raw shrimp
silver side
and white meat fish fillet. my piranha never refuse to take it/. they love it.

I'm not sure what mysis shrimp is but i just feed them shrimp from the grocery store (uncooked with the shell on). For my four i just put a whole shrimp in and they will eat all of it within about 10 min. Since you have one you may want to just quarter it (seems logical?). If mine don't eat the whole shrimp right away I take out the leftovers. I would think that you could do the same with any type of food.

so, any white fish fillet
high quality pellets and flakes
and raw shrimp

and he only needs a bit.
Ive tried him with smelt, but he doesnt seem to interested, ive even tried giving him the whole smelt, but still nothing. Should i just keep offering it until he takes it?

Any time you change or introduce new diet to piranha you gotta be patient. it take time for them to accepted and eat. Keep introduceing them, until they ready.
