Top cover plants

Hello I have some plants currently. But I want to get some piranhas and wanna make a dim light area but I need a top cover plant. I've tryed duckweed before and it all died very fast. What large hardy top over plants are good options

Duckweed is like the most unkillable plant on the planet, but you could try some Pistia (water lettuce)

I didn't know water wisteria was a top cover plant? I thought it was a rooted plant?

It can be grown floating. It does not have to be rooted. If you do anchor it to something it grows up to the top of the water the across the top of the tank.

if you want something bigger than duckweed, you could try some pennywort. very hardy and fast growing.

Will the wisteria do well not being d sense its roots won't beable to get the minerals from the substrate?
