So the wife and I have thought about doing some plants in a tank, so I told her to pick out a plant and we would give it a shot. Now I am kicking myself for not researching but after seeing them for over 2yrs you would think they would be selling actual plants, but she picked the Aqua Fern "Trichomanes javanicum" which I have now read is NOT a aquatic plant. So needless to say I will be returning this tomorrow.

I was wondering other then the swords and anubis what plants are aquatic? Was thinking about the grass they had myself.

You just looking to do some basic low light plants? If so, then these should work...

Looking for sturdy plants. They are going into my 125g with my Midas, Albino Bristlenose Plecos, Tigerbarbs, and clown loaches. Normally with large cichlids you wouldn't do this, but Jr.(My kids call him that) seems to not have the temperment of a typical Midas. So I intend to pot them(Going to use abit of eggcrate so their rotes can get tangled in them), let them get well rooted and large, then put them in the tank.

dont buy the grass they have in the tubes its kyoto grass and not aquatic its for fruity japanese rock gardens
