Top Hood enclosue?

Hey, I've just set up my new 125g FOWLR tank and it's currently in the process of cycling. When it gets going in a few months I want to get a snowflake eel. From what i've heard they are escape artists. What do you guys think I should do to keep him in? What is the best top for my tank that won't block out to much light? There is a divider half way in between the tank at about 36in. I have thick glass covering it now however there is one large piece that is missing and other small places that are left open cause it's not an exact fit anyway.

Any ideas? -- Thanks alot!-- I also don't want to be moving glass off the top everytime I want to feed my fish. If there is anything that would be good to use with hinges or something that would be great!-

I kept mine fed well and never had a problem with him tryin to escape. I cut eggcrate to fit one of my tanks to keep fish from jumping.

sounds ok, i guess u could actually use 2 halfs and somehow attach a hidge in the middle
