Topfin 60 rattling and shut off

Im getting new filters because all of my topfin 60s have the same problem. They start rattling and shut off. I wanted to know of this a problem someone has encountered and fixed or if i should just toss them. Ive tried everything, cleaned them out, cleaned with a brush and hosed out and still. It starts working and sucking up water but the minute the water reach what im guessing is the impeller/motor area it rattles and stops. Ive had this issue already happen to 3 filters that are less than a year old

Well ive had 5 top fins die on me already. I have one that actually works but the rattling noise is incredible. And ive also tried everything. All the others just stopped working the minute the rattling starts. Ive also had this issue with small top fins. Sound like a metal table being pushed on concrete
