Topfin CF100 canister filter

Can someone please help me? I have this canister filter and I have everything hooked up correctly and everytime I plug it in it is supposed to automatically start running .. I hit the prime button once as it says and all it
Does is blink all the red lights for flow rate every now and then and the power pack just flashes blue .. it will not

I just bought this same filter and had the exact same problem. It seems the impeller was jamed a bit. I took the top of the filter off and shook it a bit and plugged it in while I shook it. I could then hear it fire up. Put it all back together and now it works fine.
