i have the chance to get my hands on some Tor Putitora for a decent price, bit i am not shure if i should give it a try.
My tank is fairly big, 1200 Liters of acryl, big enough for big fish, but not big enough for giants. I've read about those fish, that in the aquarium,they stop at around 3', which would be too big for the tank atm, but they seem to grow slow, so it is not impossible.
What about smaller tankmates? Always food or companions?
How about plants, do they leave em allone like our cold-water carps or do they digg em out or just eat them like Pacus?
