These fish are awesome, and their growth rate is also quite fast, until they reach 16-18", almost 1.5" a month.
Cool,what would you suggest as a good food for them at the size that mine are?
i grew out two separate groups, one group was 4-5" and the other was 11-13"
Both groups had pretty similar growth rates.
My fish get fed every alternate day, the tors get twice a week Tilapia fillet, I get it from the local market bimonthly. And once a week they get fruits or insects alternatingly (mostly super Worms or lobster roaches, cultured by me).
these fish are fast, and are gluttony, keeping them well fed, would burn off pockets, let alone wallets, hence I feed Hikari sparsely, once a month, and mostly Hikari cichlid Excel.

And Krich, I meant to say sinking carnivore not massivore. My 3 are running around with 4 dorado.
