torn jaw

on the clown knifes upper lip back at the closest edge to the gills there is a part that sort of hinges a little when they eat (the slight overlap at the edge of the mouth. but for the last month or two on one side of my ck his lip "bone" on one side will stick out not attached to the body. it only comes away from his face when he eats other than that it looks almost the same as the other side. with only a slight whiteness to the lip in in that corner. this is not an open wound and i dont know what caused it. he is alone in the tank so he's not fighting with anyone.

is this something repairable, deadly, or of little concern.

he doesnt have any hesitation in yawning or striking food it doesnt appear to be hurting him.

ill get pictures put up if i can get one that shows this.

I kinda see...pix would be better to examine with though

His jaw bone could have popped out of it's sock. It happens sometimes with lion fish they get too excited while eating their food and the bone pops out.

so whats the deal, do they recomend it being fixed or is there nothing to do about it.

I think that dislocated is the word i'm looking for, but sometimes it can correct it'self.

well thats only slightly off topic but she is only about a year old to me, i have no idea how old she actualy is.
