bellevue, ne
on the clown knifes upper lip back at the closest edge to the gills there is a part that sort of hinges a little when they eat (the slight overlap at the edge of the mouth. but for the last month or two on one side of my ck his lip "bone" on one side will stick out not attached to the body. it only comes away from his face when he eats other than that it looks almost the same as the other side. with only a slight whiteness to the lip in in that corner. this is not an open wound and i dont know what caused it. he is alone in the tank so he's not fighting with anyone.

is this something repairable, deadly, or of little concern.

he doesnt have any hesitation in yawning or striking food it doesnt appear to be hurting him.

ill get pictures put up if i can get one that shows this.

no idea what happened, but id have a better idea with those pictures, sorry im useless! for now

just watch his right side (his perspective) and you will see the area of white at the edge of the jaw and get a better idea of what im talking about.

I kinda see...pix would be better to examine with though
