I just got this 18-inch spotted gar...

will this torn tail heal on its own?

the former owner had it in a 75g tank with a 22-inch malaysian green arowana...

tail should heal up just fine on its own; just keep up with water changes to provide a clean environment for healing. nice looking specimen--

Nice fish! I wish I could get a bigger gar. All the ones I see for sale here ar 2-4".
